Captain Richard Faria, aka Snapper (left), and Chief Engineer Joe Dawicki Jr. were the last Captain and Chief Engineer of the Steamer Nobska (Nantucket Steamship Authority). Captain Faria passed away a couple of years ago at the age of 94. Chief Engineer Joe Dawicki Jr. will be 74 years old in May and lives in Sarasota, Florida.
