Antique Car Here is a antique car parked in front of a nice old house. Old houses, antique cars, and patriotism (flags) can be seen all over the island. (The flags have always been prevalent, even before 9/11) |
Celebrities Many celebrities can be seen walking around Nantucket. Generally they blend right in the crowd and are not bothered. Seen in this photo is Ted Kennedy when he stopped for a moment near The Tavern. |

Farms and Cows Yes there are farms on Nantucket, most notably the Bartlett Farm. There are also cows on Nantucket, but not too many. |
Oldest House This is Nantuckets oldest house and is open to the public for paid tours. It was struck by lightning several years ago and was almost lost. |
Cottages Just some cottages on the water. This little cove in front of the cottages is where the small boat with the lighted Christmas tree is placed. The person who did this has since passed away but his tradition has been continued.
Lobsters This lobster establishment can be seen down on straight wharf where the Freedom Cruise Line and the Hy-Line Cruise Line both dock their ferries.

Rescue Boat This boat was an interesting conversation piece. Not sure if it is still around or functioning.
Memories The name can't be seen in this photo, but the name of this boat is 'Memories'. It is probably responsible for thousands of photographs.

Having Fun Kids can be found all over the island having fun. This photo was snapped on Madaket Beach while waiting for one of the famous Madaket sunsets. Click here to jump to see some of those sunsets.

Fish, Fish, Fish... This is where all the kids want to hang out. At the end of the day all the charter fishing boats come in and dress the catches of the day.
...and more Fish This is a huge Marlin that was caught off Nantucket.
