Friday Afternoon/Evening Photos
The 2005 Nantucket Christmas Stroll started out chilly and windy which resulted in a pretty rough ride on the Hy-Line fast ferry Grey Lady. The SSA Flying Cloud did not make trips Friday evening because of high winds and large waves.

Saturday Photos
Saturday's weather was sunny, brisk, windy and cold. In what seems to be an annual tradition (yes again), the Flying Cloud from the Steamship Authority (SSA) did not make any trips on Saturday due to high winds and rough seas. This was the third Nantucket Christmas stroll in a row that did not see a full schedule completed by the Flying Cloud. The "Find Your Twin And Win" game was canceled this year. Rumor has it whomever was running the game backed out at the last minute and there was not enough time to recover. There were a lot of disappointed people roaming Main Street.

Sunday
Everyone awoke Sunday morning to a light snowfall. The snow provide a rare opportunity for some beautiful Nantucket Christmas Stroll pictures and made this stroll one to remember. By noon the snow had turned to rain and soaked everyone. The ride home on the Grey Lady was much smoother than on the way over Friday night.
