Muskeget Island — Muskeget Island is located west of Tuckernuck and Nantucket. Latitude: 41.3375 Longitude: -70.30556 Elevation: 14ft. There are 2 buildings on the island with no year-round residents. Muskeget has no electricity, running water, or police force. Muskeget is primarily known as a home for seals. Depending on the time of year, they may number in the thousands. We have compiled the photos below for those who are not able to get to Muskeget Island.

This building is located on the eastern end of the island. Not sure what it is.
This house is located on the western end of the island.

This guy got pretty close but generally the seals are not as friendly as the seals off Monomoy Island, Cape Cod.
They are very cautious and observant of unknown visitors.
The sand bars are actually pretty large.

One of the fresh water ponds on Muskeget Island.
The fog can be very thick around Nantucket and the islands. It also can roll in very fast.
GPS electronic navigation equipment is pretty much a requirement if heading any distance away from shore.
